I long to be arty but I have come to a realization that in all likelihood it is not possible. Does this mean I am going to stop trying, hell no! So here is my latest attempt, a still life called “Wine with Impellor”.
My inspiration to create this piece is the select few that have an intimate knowledge of their engine rooms and of their need to self medicate after a particularly strenuous project down in the bilge.

Dean, are you headed from Kingston to Ottawa on the Rideau Canal? We may see you as we left Ottawa Tuesday, and are now docked at the "Pond" in Merrickville. Spending two nights here, and two nights after that in Smith's Falls. We travelled from Kingston to Ottawa two weeks ago, then spent a full week in Ottawa.
We are in Seeley's Bay, then Morton's bay, Davis and Chaffey. Our problem is communications...We don't have any. And we are in no hurry. Send me a message and I will try to connect with wi-fi in Jone's Falls. If not leave your radio on 16 and I'll call occasionally! It is saturday here and I think you are in Smith's Falls.
